  • Love the squirrel pics!!
  • Oatmeal bread sounds yummy.  I need the recipe!
  • Any word on the job prospect?
  • That's why we school four days a week.  We need that one day for extra cleaning stuff.
  • NYE party... it was very fun!  I think we had around 50 people here.  Just enough to have fun without it being overly loud.  It was very nice outside, in the 50s (if memory serves) and the children were outside most of the evening.  Lots of yummy snacks!
  • Yes, bittersweet but so very *peaceful*.  I am so ready for it all to be gone.  OH did I tell you Heidi (from HK, owner of Daddy's Little Princess) asked to buy the patterns!  So Wonder Unders will live on :)  I am very happy.
  • "It is not my nature to keep my mouth shut when being attacked, to return kindness for evil, or to go the extra mile."... yah, mine neither!  We are all works in progress, that's for sure!  I am always looking for 'what am I supposed to learn through this' and I can see He has taught me a lot!
  • -happy tears- that birthday blessing was so very special!  I'm going to print it out and stick it in my Bible for when I need a little boost :)
  • "Lost and Found"... I'm nearly in tears here.  What happened to Leia?  She's supposed to still be a toddler... man.  She's so pretty!
And for other news... I decided, in all my wisdom (lol), to completely rearrange and reorganize the sewing room this week.  It is a Disaster Area in there now.  Why do you always have to make such a mess in order to clean up?  And on top of that I had this great idea for reorganizing my patterns.  They have always been in drawers and divided by Girls, Boys, Babies, etc...  The only problem is that a lot of patterns have boy and girl in the same pattern.  And the size divisions between little girl and big girl vary a lot.  So I told Tony "You know, if we had access to a color copier I would just copy the front of each pattern and put together my own pattern book.  Then the patterns could be divided by company and in boxes/drawers in the closet.  Of course, he thinks this is brilliant and decides we need to do it now (yesterday, he came home at lunch because he wasn't feeling well and he knew the children were still icky).  After figuring out a system to use the scanner and our printer -- we are off.  Five copies later and *poof* Our printer died.  What makes this so funny is that just an hour earlier he had been telling me that he was thinking of buying a 3 in 1 for us.  Printer/copier/scanner thing.  I told him we had a perfectly good printer and had many other things we could spend that money on and we didn't need a 3 in 1 machine.  LOL

Yah, someday I'll learn to keep my mouth shut!

Maybe.

Anyway, he went online and found one he wanted and it had a rebate of $50.  He ordered it online and then drove to Tallahassee with MaryVance to get it.

Now to get all of these pattern envelopes copied and sorted...
Just tried to add a pic but got an error that said that feature is down for now.  Oh well... imagine it, if you will!  Lots of patterns.

So my one day/two day project is going to be a week long project.  I'm ready to be done.  I have sewing to do.  I have one last pad order to finish and then I'm going to make up a bunch of pads for some HK ladies.  Then I am done with "work" and I get to play, play, play.  And sew what I want.  And make goodies for my children!  <3
