You see, Nathan has this wonderful car rug that that he loves VERY much!
The problem is, we purchased it used and the rubber backing isn't in very good condition. I thought it wouldn't be that big of a problem, but I'm finding that I try to keep it packed away more often than not just because of the mess it leaves behind, but if I do that, what's the point in having it at all, right?
We don't have the room to keep it out all of the time, and just the friction of it moving around on the floor during play, or even simply the unfolding and folding of it leaves a trail of small backing pieces everywhere. Do you have any ideas of a way I can eliminate this problem, and still keep the rug?

hhmmm... I know the problem of which you speak... as we have had a similar issue.
solutions? Spray adhesive and a heavy fabric. Yes, that's what I would try. I would apply spray adhesive on the rug and then cover it with a heavy fabric (ie. canvas, duck, trigger) press to adhere and then trim the excess. Ohhhh... or felt. Yes, felt. Then you don't have to worry about the edges fraying!
That sounds like a SUPER plan! THANK YOU *SO* much.....from me, but even more so from Nathan =D
Now, is felt something that you can generally buy by the yard and most general fabric places? I don't recall ever seeing it.....
